Casey Legler: Godspeed SPECIAL EVENT

Godspeed is the lyrical and unflinching memoir of athleticism and addiction by Casey Legler, a former French Olympic swimmer and the first woman to sign a male modeling contract with Ford Models. Described as “raw and poetic … lean and ferocious” by {The New York Times}, it charts the mismatch between Casey’s public rise as a competitive swimmer and private unravelling through alcohol and substance abuse. Casey shares their story of survival and defiance with Sally Rugg.

The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOTB)

The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOTB) is commemorated annually on the 17th of May. In 2018, the global theme for IDAHOTB is Alliances for Solidarity. Strong partnerships and collective action are essential to advance human rights based on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics. LGBTI communities must also be allies to minorities and take an intersectional approach to all work to ensure no one is left behind.
